Dream Dollar Pro by Kyle Purnell
Dream Dollar Pro allows you to borrow two one dollar bills and visually melt one through the other as if they are both liquid. They can see one bill going right through the middle of the other and move through it like smoke. There’s even an inexplicable moment where one bill splits apart from itself and joins back together before both bills are handed right back to their owner.
And the best part is… there’s no gimmicks.
Kyle has been on a roll lately with visual magic that packs a punch, and I think this is one of his best releases yet (right next to his other release The Hancock Effect.) The visual you get out of this is legitimately insane, and at first, it’s hard to believe there are no gimmicks or extra parts. It’s just two bills; that’s it. My brain couldn’t process how the split bill effect could work. Picture a zigzag bill type moment with two normal bills. And you can do it with any denomination with almost all foldable currency as long as both bills are the same denomination.
My favorite thing about it is that you can do all of the dirty work right in front of everyone as the routine progresses. So there’s no need to secretly turn away before the trick to fold special folds or anything. It all happens as you put the two bills together to cause the penetration. It’s super easy to do, and the clean up is just as easy.
Truly, I don’t think there’s a downside to it. It’s a great piece of magic to know that you can go into it anytime, anywhere. Is it going to be the closer of a closeup set? Probably not, but for those moments when you’re out and about and want to show something that looks impossible, this is really great. Literally just keep two dollars in your wallet, or borrow two and you’re always ready.
The download gives a to-camera performance and a live performance before diving into the explanation with over the shoulder shots. It’s crystal clear and right to the point--my favorite kind of magic tutorials. The whole thing is only 20 minutes long (including the two performances.) It's perfect.
